Overview
This program is for all levels of players with a
heavy emphasis on skill development and working
on team concepts and league play on the
weekends. There will be 10-12 players per team
and all players will receive equal playing time.
Teams will be divided equally and probably
practice and play at the same time per age
group. Groups will be broken into grades
3rd-6th, 7th & 8th and 9th-12th. Requests to
play with friends will be granted if possible.
Seasons
Season 1: January 4 – March 8 (9 weeks)
Season 2: March 30– May 31 (9 weeks)

Tryouts
There are no tryouts for this level.
Practices begin the week of January 4, 2008.
All girls wishing to play on a CJV Non-Traveling
Team will be placed on a team provided there is
space available. Registrations will be accepted
on a first come basis. Girls will then be
divided into multiple teams after the first few
practices.
If you do not make a Gold
Level team you will be placed on a Silver level
team if you indicate on your registration form
that you want to play either level.
Locations
There will be Non-Traveling
Teams in South Charlotte (Sports Connection on
Granite Street) and
Non-Traveling Teams in North Charlotte (Charlotte Sports Center).
Other Volleyball Club from the area may also
participate in weekend league games. Most
league games will be held at the Sports
Connection (South).
Age Groups
Groups will be broken into grades 3rd-6th, 7th &
8th and 9th-12th
Teams
The goal is to
form approximately 20 teams with about 10-12
players per team.
Player requests to play with friends will be
allowed when possible, but may not be possible
in all cases.
Teams will be
divided equally and probably practice and play
at the same time per age group.
Practices
Each Level will have
1-2 practices per week for 1-2 hours each.
Practice times and days will vary based on what
team you are playing with. Most practices will
be sometime from 4-10 PM on Mondays through
Thursdays, Fridays 4-8 PM or Sundays 1-9 PM.
Requests will be considered if a player needs to
switch teams because of a conflict in practice
times or for carpooling needs. South teams
will practice at the Sports Connection on
Granite Street, North
teams will practice at the Charlotte Sports
Center.
Playing Time
All girls will
receive Playing Time at each League
Competition. Playing time on the younger and
more developmental teams will be equal. Playing
time on the more competitive teams, may not be
equal in all league games.
League Dates
Season 1: 6 Saturdays or Sundays
Jan 24-25, Jan 31-Feb 1, Feb 7-8, Feb 21-22, Feb
28-March1, March 7-8
(You will play on either Saturday or Sunday, not
both)
Season 2 - 6 Saturdays or Sundays
April 18-19, April 25-26, May 2-3, May 9-10,
May 16-17, May 30-31
(You will play on either Saturday or Sunday, not
both)

Cost
$249 Per Girl
(Includes Team T-Shirt) due at time of
registration.
